Little Heathen

This is my contribution to =Steel-Girl's character design contest. I chose to work with NOAH's underling, 'cause, let's face it, I love the guy, and I wanted to draw an evil minion over a good one.

NOAH is in need of help from a source which was sealed away by the blinding light of Amai thousands of years ago. NOAH breaks this seal, knowing that what's inside will be in his debt. [Paraphrased for clarity.]

In so, I give you the (self-proclaimed) Princess of Darkness herself, Roxanne. She's cute and spunky, and above all things, mischievous. Roxanne lurks in the shadows, using her child-like appearance to lure people into an unsuspecting vulnerability before bringing doom upon them. Life and Death is merely a game to her, and if she doesn't get her bratty little way, nobody's happy.

At least that's how it was before becoming sealed away by Amai some many years ago. Having lived in solitude in her lonely prison, Roxanne regains humility and her better-than-you disposition is taken down many notches. Once NOAH frees her, she becomes his loyal minion and looks up to him out of respect. (Besides, if he hadn't come along, would she have still been imprisoned?) Her attitude towards others is still pompous, but her entire being is devoted to repaying NOAH for his seemingly thoughtful rescue.

As for her age, it is uncertain. She looks like a child and acts like a child, therefore, Roxanne must be a child. She is feather-like in weight as she is the very element she possesses---shadow. Though she seems to be able to levitate on her own, she still possesses a dragon-half's wings as well as a tail and unseen horns thanks to her spikey pigtails.

Don't let her appearance fool you, however. Roxanne is most evil down to her very essence. Such power would be devastating if not contained by the bond between the girl and her new master.
